About Iran Immigration Data Portal

Providing Migration Data

Iran Migration Data Portal (IMDP) is a project launched by Iran Migration Observatory (IMO), funded by Iran's Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, and supported by the Sharif Policy Research Institute (SPRI) Sharif University of Technology.

This portal aims to provide migration data in four major categories of economic and workforce migration, student mobility, refugees and asylums, and return migration to help those studying migration by providing a database to make a better governance decision and monitor the effects of their decision.

In making better sense of the bigger picture of international migration, IMDP both use the data that Iran Migration Observatory produces (by various means such as surveys, official data from Iranian organizations) and gathers from other migration data portals and resources worldwide.
